Each May, The Noosa International Food & Wine Festival attracts visitors, foodies and some of the biggest names in the food industry. There is always a stellar line-up of some of the best events ever that start this festival with riverside picnics, wine masterclasses and even themed dinners. Live music is always there from local and some of Australia’s acclaimed musicians and the events are extraordinary. Llike the area itself, which is so diverse in culture, you can expect anything from a 60’s beach party to sunset concerts, to a Seafood Fest and a Japanese Lunch. Even though you may see International Culinary stars, there’s Best Home Cooked Competition with the grand prize worth thousands of dollars.
Do you prefer to sit beachfront, overlooking the bay? There are some perfectly positioned places along the beachfront to have any meal, breakfast, lunch or dinner while enjoying the outside world. Bars & Restaurants in Noosa (a lot of them situated on the famous Hastings Street), pride themselves on using fresh, local ingredients.
