Meet Our Animals
Here at Australia Zoo we just love animals - from the tiniest lizard to the tallest giraffe! Australia Zoo is a great environment for our animals - it provides not only a haven for our collection of over one hundred different species including Steve's favourites the Crocodile, Tiger, and Cheetah, but is also a great platform for those same animals to act as ambassadors for their cousins in the wild. This gives Australia Zoo the ability to educate the world about animal conservation and to increase the chances of protecting all wildlife.
"Myself, Terri, Wes and our team of hard-core conservationists, environmentalists, and naturalists at the Australia Zoo are breaking exciting new territory in wildlife and wilderness CONSERVATION.
Together we're breaking the traditional conservation moulds, making a quantum leap into new levels of conservation techniques and strategies, setting new benchmarks for the protection of the world's environment and humanity." - Steve Irwin

Sally the giraffe has welcomed her second daughter!
By Australia Zoo
19 May 2016We’re so thrilled to announce that Sally the giraffe has welcomed her second daughter! Both Sally and her calf are doing extremely well, and at this stage are still bonding behind-the-scenes. After waiting 15 months to meet this precious little girl, we’re so excited for her to join our herd which is home to Skye, Lily and Tulip who were also born here at the Zoo! This baby giraffe will be named at the Steve Irwin Gala Dinner in LA, where her name will be chosen by one lucky bidder, comment your suggestions below!
Lady Cilento Children's Hospital !
By Australia Zoo
10 May 2016Look who was ‘chuffed’ to be at Lady Cilento Children's Hospitall! Our tiger cubs, Scout and Delilah, had their first big outing today surprising all the kids at the children’s hospital and creating smiles all-round. Even in the midst of their rockstar-like reception, they found themselves in familiar territory playing on the Hospital’s giant crocodile statue!
