Noosa is home to an amazing dining scene, but you can find a lot more than just great restaurants and delicious cuisine when you arrive at this unique region of the Sunshine Coast. Noosa is conveniently located to all of the major attractions of the Sunshine Coast as well as the greater Queensland area, including an array of theme parks and zoos.

Natural Beauty

Noosa is filled with breathtaking natural attractions. Beyond the clean, lovely beaches you can find the Noosa National Park, which strives to protect and preserve the native flora and fauna of the region. The park encompasses a significant portion of the Noosa region, which includes areas of the Noosa River, the hinterland and even some of the coastline. It is home to many animals including koalas, kangaroos and hundreds of species of birds. 

The Noosa river winds calmly through the area beginning at the Noosa Everglades and then it opens up to Fraser Island just off of Noosa’s coast. Fraser Island is a famous World-heritage landmark. There are many different types of tours to experience Fraser Island as well as the other natural areas of Noosa. You can explore the wilds on your own or with guided eco tours that focus on different areas from the lush, green hinterland to the coloured sands of the North Shore.

Eumundi 

Eumundi is a gorgeous historic town that can be found in the Noosa hinterland. It is famous for its exciting markets, art galleries and dining. The markets are open every Wednesday and Saturday. There, you'll find over 500 stalls with vendors selling everything from handmade goods to local produce, arts and crafts. The main street running through the town is lined by historic buildings that house art galleries, shops and cafes. Stop by the Discover Eumundi Museum.
