Noosa Blue Water Charters are one of the largest, longest running and most respected offshore fishing services in South East Queensland, Australia.

Both of the thirty two foot, wide bodied, Cougar Cats 'Cougar One' and 'Cougar Too' are survey approved for twelve passengers and two crew and have large fishing platforms for your comfort. Both vessels are powered by twin 225hp Suzuki outboards.

The main departure point is from their jetty at 'The Boathouse' on Gympie Terrace, just opposite the Islander Resort. Free courtesy pick ups can be arranged anywhere in the Noosa area.

A half or three quarter day trip will target the inner reefs which are five to fifteen kilometres offshore. Full day trips can journey to Double Island Point, 'The Hards' or the Barwon Banks (weather permitting), over 45 kilometres out.

Reef species such as Snapper, Squire, Coral Trout, Pearl Perch, Moses Perch and Scarlet Sea Perch, Sweetlip, Red Emperor and Maori Cod, just to name a few are frequently caught.

In the warmer months there are Dolphin Fish, Spotted and Spanish Mackerel, Tuna and Cobia. Blue Water Charters can also cater to game fishing enthusiasts wishing to target species such as Marlin and Sailfish. 

Custom rods include Wilson 'Live Fibre' and Gary Howard, the reels are Penn, Shimano and Alvey. Blue Waters Charters cater for all levels of experience. The crew will instruct, bait and dehook, plus clean, chill and bag your catch. All you have to do is relax and enjoy yourself.

Individual and group bookings are welcome and advance bookings are essential. Charters operate seven days a week but holiday periods and weekends they are very popular and should be booked well in advance.
